Who loves pasta?

We do! We do!

We don’t eat it much, but every once in a while (or when the budget says so), we eat pasta. We’ve traded off white pasta for whole wheat to get rid of a lot of the carbs and sugar white pasta has. The texture is a bit different, but it is hardly noticeable with a hearty sauce to accompany it. Sunday Funday is the best way to capture all that the weekend has to offer before having to go back into work on Monday morning. Autumn Sangria

We had some friends from Melo’s cohort over for dinner not too long ago. If you know me, you know I love hosting small, intimate dinner parties. And since this was our *first* official “having friends over for dinner” party, I went all out with the menu! We had chicken adobo (a Philippine dish), corn casserole, beer braised carrots, brown rice, and gnocchi mac’n’cheese.
